About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Jurnal Yudisial contains original articles that never been published before about analyses on judge’s decisions or other dispute decisions that have actuality and complexity of legal issues either from Indonesian courts/quasi-judicial institutions or abroad.

This journal has a vision to become an international journal. The journal has two missions: 1) to serve as a forum for the Indonesian legal community in supporting an accountable, honest, and fair judiciary; 2) to support the authority and duty of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia in preserving and upholding the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct for Judges.

Peer Review Process

Every draft article submitted to the editorial board shall undergo a double-blind peer review process. Both author and reviewer shall remain anonymous to each other.

After receiving the draft article, the editorial board shall hide the author’s name and remove it from the article. The editorial board shall then appoint one member to check the article's compliance with the formal guidelines established. The next step is for the editorial board to appoint peer reviewers, based on their expertise.

All the processes including the review process shall be performed using the OJS (online journal system) in which both author and reviewer must register themselves via the Journal's web page.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Yudisial is published three times a year, in April, August, and December. Each publication shall consist of 7 Articles.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

Jurnal Yudisial published 3 (three) times in 1 (one) year, every April, August, and December.

Jurnal Yudisial was first published in 2007. The journal was initiated by the Chairperson of the Judicial Commission in 2006, who considered the importance of scientific legal science publication media that analyses court decisions to accommodate and network writers among law academicians, practitioners, and other competent parties nationally.

Article Processing and Publication Charges

Jurnal Yudisial does not charge Article Processing Charges. Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs, unless authors fail to submit their revisions after the review.

Readers can also read and download the articles published for free of charge.
